Congratulations to our newly elected student council. We held our first meeting today and have fantastic ideas for our school. It is great to have a student voice in Sylane school. The children were each presented with their student council badge. We will meet the last Friday of each month.

Last Friday 3rd & 4th class took part in a fantastic hurling tournament at Sylane hurling club - the Gerard Mc Hugh Memorial cup. Huge thanks to Dylan Connors for organising the event and providing the children with a great opportunity.

Our senior classes are making great progress with our traditional music groups! 🎶 It’s wonderful to see their skills and confidence growing under Anita’s guidance. We are so lucky to have Anita sharing her knowledge and passion for music with our pupils! 💚🎻

We were delighted to welcome storyteller Niall De Burca to our school last week. The children were thoroughly entertained as he shared his wonderful stories. A memorable experience for everyone!
